Eaton Aerospace subscribes to Nadcap

14 May 2012

On 13th March 2012, Eaton Aerospace became a Nadcap Subscriber.

The U.S. company, of Irvine, California, now requires its American, European and Asian Suppliers to become Nadcap accredited for the following disciplines as indicated:

  • Heat Treating, Non-Destructive Testing and Welding – by 31 December 2012
  • Chemical Processing, Coatings and Materials Testing Laboratories – by 30 June 2013

Scott Klavon, Director of Nadcap and Aerospace Operations for the not-for-profit Performance Review Institute, which administers Nadcap on behalf of the global aerospace industry, commented: “Quite rightly, quality is a critical component of aerospace manufacturing and Nadcap plays a key important role in special process and product quality risk mitigation. A commitment to Nadcap – whether by a Supplier becoming Nadcap accredited or by a Prime subscribing to Nadcap – is a commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction. I welcome Eaton Aerospace as a Nadcap subscriber and look forward to working with their representatives to continually improve the industry-managed Nadcap program for all stakeholders.”
