eAuditNet 2.0 will launch on 3 May 2009

For over 6 years, since the launch in November 2002, eAuditNet has been an invaluable tool for the Nadcap community, and during that time has undergone continual improvement based on your input. Nearly 2 years ago the technology experts agreed that eAuditNet needs to be delivered via a world-class technology platform, in order to continue to scale to meet your needs.

As with any system, it is natural to become comfortable with using a system and your feedback reflects the near flawless service eAuditNet provides. In fact many customers have also expressed reluctance about changing “anything” which could jeopardize the current eAuditNet. Fortunately, we have been able to make the transition to eAuditNet 2.0 before external technology would have surpassed the original eAuditNet platform.

I am pleased to inform you that on Friday, 1 May 2009 at 5:00pm ET, eAuditNet will be unavailable as the new system is launched. We plan to have eAuditNet 2.0 up and available for your use by 3 May 2009.  We thank you in advance for your loyalty, feedback, and patience with intermittent interruptions as we deploy the new system and thoroughly transition your valuable data.

eAuditNet 2.0 features improved navigation, a more user-friendly design, and faster screens, reducing the amount of time required for eAuditNet user activity. In addition, the site will utilize an enhanced workflow system in order that users know exactly what stage of the process they are executing.

To assist Nadcap stakeholders during this transition period:

  • All PRI staff have been trained to assist with queries – contact your local PRI office
  • Online training sessions, conducted via WebEx, are scheduled to review the changes. To participate, please register via one of the links listed below:

The following enhancements have been designed specifically to improve the eAuditNet experience for Auditors, Subscribers and Suppliers.

Auditors

General

    • New screen designs and navigation
    • Compatible with multiple browsers MSIE 6.x, MSIE 7.x, and Mozilla Firefox
    • Calendar pickers for all date selections
    • Customizable format (users preference) for entering dates (MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY)
    • Auto-completer for Company Name searches
    • Sort-able columns for search results data

Online QML

    • Expandable and collapsible scopes
    • Display of All Audits/Certificates for a supplier
    • Links to the Audit Details from Audit Numbers
    • Ability to download search results to Excel
    • Basic/Advanced Search capabilities merged onto one screen

Audit Manager

    • Combined the applications of Audit Lookup / Audit Tracking

Documents

    • One central application to access all documents including:
      • Public Documents
      • Nadcap Procedures
      • Audit Checklists
    • Hierarchical view by category and sub-categories that expand and collapse

Auditor Calendar

    • Ability to add an event to a day of the month � dates auto-populate
    • Ability to toggle from month to month
    • Hovering on the audit number gives more audit details such as commodity and audit location

Auditor Expense

    • Ability to delete a claim

Audit Checklist Completion

    • Checklists can not be assigned > 21 days before the audit start date to ensure current checklists are used for the audit
    • Audit lists with audit start and end dates
    • A full scope audit view available with Print Preview
    • Quality System Verification and Scope Verification details are displayed on the main checklist completion page
    • Quality System certificate can be attached with the verification
    • Button name change from �Auto-Assign Checklists� to �Assign/Synchronize Checklists�
    • Inline editing � A Java plug-in is not needed for editing record lists and tables

Offline Audit Completion

    • Audits not downloadable > 21 days before the audit start date to ensure current checklists are used for the audit
    • Tabbing through and focus on the current checklist question  (except tables)

 

Subscribers

  • General
    • New screen designs and navigation
    • Compatible with multiple browsers MSIE 6.x, MSIE 7.x, and Mozilla Firefox
    • Calendar pickers for all date selections
